Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Jenna M. Shives has joined the firm as Of Counsel in its Labor and Employment and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practices. Ms. Shives brings more than a decade of litigation experience spanning employment disputes, commercial litigation, environmental litigation, and appellate matters, with a track record of representing clients in high‑stakes cases across state and federal forums.
In addition to her courtroom work, Ms. Shives counsels employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, provides strategic guidance on government investigations, and advises on data‑privacy compliance and related litigation - helping businesses navigate complex regulatory requirements, mitigate risk, and implement practical, business forward solutions.
Ms. Shives served as a judicial clerk to Judge Margret G. Robb of the Indiana Court of Appeals and Justice Robert D. Rucker of the Indiana Supreme Court, experience that informs her approach to appellate strategy and judicial process.
Ms. Shives graduated cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and holds a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University. She is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
