Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that Partner and Chair of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice Group, C. Daniel Motsinger has been named to the Top 50: 2019 Indiana Super Lawyers Listing.
Super Lawyers is an annual service that rates outstanding lawyers within their discipline of practice. The selection process consists of statewide nominations, peer evaluations and independent research performed by representatives at Super Lawyers. The Indiana lawyers who receive the highest point totals during this selection process are further recognized in Indiana Super Lawyers Top Lists.
Mr. Motsinger who was recognized for his outstanding work in the area of Creditors’ Rights, has been named to the Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars or Indiana Super Lawyers listing since 2004. Motsinger is joined at Krieg DeVault by an additional 18 attorneys named to the 2019 Indiana Supers Lawyers listing, and an additional 11 attorneys named to the Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars listing, which is designated for attorneys under the age of 40 or attorneys who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
Mr. Motsinger’s experience in creditors' rights, bankruptcy and commercial law spans more than 30 years. He chairs the firm's Creditors' Rights/Bankruptcy Practice Group. Mr. Motsinger is certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Attorneys and was the 2011 Chair of the Board of Directors of that organization, of which he now is an Emeritus Director. He has represented creditors, debtors and investors in litigation and bankruptcy cases throughout the United States. Mr. Motsinger testified before the Congressionally-appointed National Bankruptcy Review Commission in 1997. He served as a judicial clerk to U.S. District Judge James Lawrence King in Miami, Florida, and as a judicial intern and research assistant to the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Justice, Supreme Court of the United States.
