Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that the Indiana Paralegal Association (“IPA”) has honored the firm with its 2018 Employer of the Year Award. The Indiana Paralegal Association provides its annual award to organizations demonstrating overall support of the paralegal profession, as well as demonstrating a focus on the growth and encouragement of paralegals professionally and personally. As part of the nomination process, Krieg DeVault was recognized for allowing the necessary time for its local and remote office paralegals to attend monthly meetings, and hosting continuing legal education (CLE) meetings and IPA Board meetings at its downtown Indianapolis location.
IPA was formed in 1979 as the Indianapolis Paralegal Association in response to the growing need for an organized professional association for paralegals. The purpose of IPA is to establish good fellowship among association members and members of the legal community; to encourage a higher order of ethical and professional attainment; to further education and training among members of the profession; and to cooperate and foster working relationships with bar associations and other professional organizations.
