Krieg DeVault LLP Welcomes Jacob T. Palcic to Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that Jacob Palcic has joined the firm as a Partner in its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Jacob is a commercial litigator who represents businesses in complex disputes across a wide range of industries. His practice encompasses contract disputes, business torts, trade secret matters, and litigation involving employment, real estate, environmental, and construction issues. He has represented clients in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings. Jacob works closely with clients to develop practical litigation strategies that align with their business objectives, helping them evaluate risks and opportunities while pursuing efficient and effective resolutions to complex legal challenges.
Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Jacob served as lead counsel in complex commercial, construction, real estate, and trade secret matters in federal and state courts and arbitration proceedings. His experience includes managing high-stakes litigation from pre-suit strategy through trial and appeal, securing favorable outcomes through dispositive motions, mediation, and trial. He has also advised business clients on litigation risk and strategy, represented clients in PFAS and Clean Water Act matters, and successfully handled disputes involving significant financial exposure.
Jacob earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice in Indiana and Michigan, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Jacob is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. He previously served as president of the Goshen City Bar Association and currently serves on the board of the St. Thomas More Society of South Bend. He was recently recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for 2026.
