Krieg DeVault Adds Associates Thomas Abrams, Morgan Cleary, Marsha Jean-Baptiste, and Griffin O’Gara

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas Abrams, Morgan Cleary, Marsha Jean-Baptiste, and Griffin F. O'Gara have joined the firm as Associates in our Indianapolis office. Abrams will provide counsel to the firm’s clients in the Health Care Practice; Cleary in the Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice; Jean-Baptiste in the Labor and Employment Practice; and O’Gara in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice.
About the Associates
Thomas Abrams is an Associate in the Firm's Health Care Practice. Mr. Abrams advises physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, and other health care entities on a variety of regulatory, business, and governance matters.
Thomas served as a Summer Associate for the Firm before joining as an Associate and has internship experience with a state health information exchange, a large nonprofit health system, and an accounting firm.
Morgan Cleary is an Associate in the firm's Litigation and Creditors Rights and Bankruptcy Practices. Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Ms. Cleary served as a law clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She has also served as a law clerk for the Goldwater Institute and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.
Ms. Cleary has previously served as a Summer Associate with Krieg DeVault for a variety of Practices including Litigation, Business Services, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, and Governmental Affairs. She also served as a judicial extern in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, Ms. Cleary served as the Senior Digital Coordinator and Communications Assistant for the Office of the United States Trade Representative.
Marsha Jean-Baptiste is an Associate in the firm's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Jean-Baptiste serves clients by drafting and reviewing employment agreements, reviewing and updating employee handbooks and policies, conducting legal research, and staying abreast with updates in labor and employment laws, practices, and procedures.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jean-Baptiste served as a Summer Associate with the firm where she worked in various practices. Ms. Jean-Baptiste also spent a semester as a legal intern at the National Labor Relations Board's Contempt, Compliance, and Special Litigation Branch in Washington, D.C.
Griffin F. O'Gara is an Associate in the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. Mr. O'Gara primarily devotes his practice to employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), ESOP transactions, and employee benefit matters. He has experience working with companies, trustees and sellers on ESOPs related issues.
Before joining Krieg DeVault as an Associate, Mr. O'Gara was a Summer Associate with the firm. Prior to working in the legal profession, he worked for an automation systems manufacturer where he learned about open book management, the importance of employee engagement and was introduced to the concept of ESOPs.
