Partner George C. Lepeniotis Elected to Krieg DeVault’s Executive Committee

Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that the Executive Partner of the firm’s North Central Indiana office, George C. Lepeniotis, has been elected to serve on the firm’s 5-member Executive Committee. Mr. Lepeniotis’ two-year term begins January 1, 2024. He replaces Partner Robert A. Anderson who previously served six years on the firm’s leadership team. Krieg DeVault’s Executive Committee is responsible for leading the efforts of the firm to deliver exceptional client service as a diverse and inclusive team while always exemplifying the firm’s CORE Values of Commitment, Ownership, Respect, and Excellence.
Since joining the firm in 2019, Mr. Lepeniotis has been integrally involved in the significant growth of the firm’s North Central Indiana office (Mishawaka, IN). He dedicates his legal practice to helping corporate, municipal, institutional, banking and health care clients navigate a variety of legal matters and transactions. His practice primarily focuses in the areas of corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and lending, real estate, construction and contracts law. Additionally, he serves as the host of the successful Krieg DeVault Podcast Series which routinely brings listeners legal insights impacting a wide range of industries.
In 2023, Mr. Lepeniotis was recognized by Indiana Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the Indiana legal industry. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Lepeniotis is the co-host of WNIT’s (PBS Michiana) Economic Outlook where he travels throughout the Michiana area to bring viewers news, stories and insights on topics shaping the regions economy. He is also a member of the Board for the Bridgman Foundation for Educational Excellence and on the Advisory Board for the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce. Lepeniotis is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a member of the Indiana, Michigan, St. Joseph County, Berrien County, and American Bar Associations. Lepeniotis is admitted to practice in the states of Indiana and Michigan.
