Shelley M. Jackson Named Chair of Krieg DeVault’s Labor and Employment Practice Group

Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that Partner Shelley M. Jackson has been named as the firm's new Labor and Employment Practice Group Chair. Ms. Jackson, who joined the firm in February 2020, will now lead the firm’s growing labor and employment practice previously led for the past several years by Partner Amy J. Adolay, who remains with the firm and continues to serve on the firm’s 5-member Executive Committee.
Throughout her 16-year legal career, Ms. Jackson has focused her practice in the areas of health law, employment law, professional license defense, and data privacy and security. Ms. Jackson brings a diverse set of professional experiences to her work, including time spent both in a law firm setting and in-house as an assistant general counsel and chief privacy officer for a multi-national corporation. Whether providing day-to-day advice, navigating disputes, or representing clients in high stakes matters, she combines broad substantive expertise with cost-effective, practical strategies.

In addition to her legal work, Ms. Jackson is active in her community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Milk Bank, Inc., as a corporate advisory board member for Reveal Risk, Inc., and as a member of the Indiana Bar Foundation’s Civic Education Committee. In 2022, Jackson received the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law’s Champion of Diversity Award for her work in diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal community. Ms. Jackson frequently writes and speaks on health care, employment law, and data privacy and security topics.
