Roger Carlson Joins Krieg DeVault’s Business Practice as a Partner in the Firm’s Chicago Office

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that Roger Carlson has joined as a Partner in the Firm’s Business Practice. Carlson joins the Firm’s growing Chicago office, bringing nearly 40 years of legal experience in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, manufacturing, financial services, lending, and tax.
Mr. Carlson’s current practice focuses on delivering legal solutions to clients in the areas of commercial real estate, buying and selling businesses, contract negotiations, corporate finance, and general representation of various business entities and their principals. Mr. Carlson also has extensive experience in representing lenders on new loans and restructuring distressed and non-performing loans.
He is active in his community, serving on the board of several not-for-profit organizations and company advisory boards. In addition to serving as an attorney, Mr. Carlson is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Carlson received his law degree, with high honors, from Chicago Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
