Krieg DeVault Announces 2021 Partner Promotions of William J. Barkimer, Blake P. Holler, and Matthew D. Neumann

Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce the promotions of three Partners – William J. Barkimer, Blake P. Holler, and Matthew D. Neumann. Prior to their Partner positions with the firm, all served as Senior Associates with Krieg DeVault in their respective practices.
ABOUT THE PARTNERS
William J. Barkimer (Carmel Office) - William Barkimer counsels clients and litigates disputes in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation matters. Particular areas of focus includes contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, banking liability, probate litigation, tort law, real estate disputes, and intellectual property. Mr. Barkimer has litigated cases involving breach of contract, fraud, constructive fraud, conversion, wage and compensation claims, misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark infringement, employment law and discrimination issues, covenants not to compete, negligence, products liability, shareholder disputes, commercial evictions, defamation, and creditors' rights. Mr. Barkimer has served as counsel in numerous jury trials, bench trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations in both state and federal courts across the State of Indiana. In addition, Mr. Barkimer has experience handling complex electronic discovery issues, collection matters, and administrative matters.
Blake P. Holler (Carmel Office) - Blake Holler focuses on litigation in areas of construction, public and private infrastructure, trusts and estates, employment, healthcare, real estate, banking, and general business. Mr. Holler also advises dental and healthcare clients on risk management issues and resolutions. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Holler interned in the Southern District of Indiana federal court.
Matthew D. Neumann (Carmel Office) - Matt Neumann focuses his practice in the areas of environmental, Brownfield redevelopments, insurance coverage, remediations and cost recovery, complex commercial litigation, government investigations, risk management, workplace safety and crisis management. Matthew is a core member of the firm's Real Estate, Environmental and Litigation Practice Groups, but he routinely works with many other practice groups in the Firm. Mr. Neumann’s practice includes litigation, transactional and regulatory components, and he has represented entities of all sizes, from conglomerated multi-national corporations, to municipalities and universities, to smaller family-owned companies, to startups, entrepreneurs and individuals. Mr. Neumann represents companies in many industries and sectors, with an emphasis on industrial/manufacturing, energy, real estate, financial institutions, pharmaceuticals, life science, agribusiness and health care.
