Maggie C. Little Joins Krieg DeVault’s Health Care Practice

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Maggie C. Little has returned to the firm as Senior Counsel in its Health Care practice. She counsels hospitals, health systems, physician practice groups, and other providers on transactional, regulatory, and operational matters across Indiana.
Ms. Little focuses her practice on health care transactional matters, including physician and advanced practice provider employment arrangements, acquisitions and joint ventures, and complex clinical partnerships and affiliations. She also advises on compliance and regulatory affairs such as licensure, scope of practice, and fraud and abuse considerations and provides in‑house counsel services to providers and health system leadership. Drawing on prior experience as legal counsel to a large Indiana health system, Ms. Little partners with clinical, compliance, and administrative teams to operationalize regulatory guidance, address risk management considerations, and support strategic initiatives across complex care settings.
In addition to her transactional and regulatory work, Ms. Little regularly advises clients on clinical and operational policies and procedures, business development priorities, and the negotiation of complex health system contracting matters. She has represented ambulatory surgery centers in joint venture arrangements and physician ownership transactions; counseled medical staff leadership on bylaws and rules and regulations; and drafted and negotiated physician and advanced practice provider employment agreements.
Ms. Little earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she also obtained a Health Law Certificate. She holds an M.S. in Health Services Administration and a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Evansville. She is admitted to practice in Indiana.
