Gregory Ellis serves as an Of Counsel attorney in the firm's Governmental Affairs and Public Advocacy Practice. As a registered lobbyist, Mr. Ellis represents corporate and government entities before the Indiana General Assembly and Indiana's various administrative agencies. He has extensive experience in state and Congressional public policy and advocacy, specifically focusing in the areas of energy policy, renewable energy policy, energy management, environmental policy, resource management, land management and real estate policy, tax, and infrastructure. 

Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Mr. Ellis served in numerous high profile roles at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, including Vice President of Government Affairs for Environment, Energy and Infrastructure; Director of Congressional Affairs and Federal Policy; and General Counsel. In his role as the Vice President of Government Affairs for Environment, Energy and Infrastructure, Mr. Ellis served as a liaison between the Indiana Chamber membership and the Indiana General Assembly, and as the subject matter expert in government affairs, including environmental law, natural resources law, energy law, water law, transportation, utility infrastructure, and alcoholic beverage regulation. His professional career also includes serving as an Administrative Law Judge at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, and as a Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs, Congressional PAC Treasurer, and General Counsel for the Tenant-In-Common Association (TICA).

In addition to being a licensed attorney and registered lobbyist, Mr. Ellis is a registered civil mediator.
